London investment firm Aethel Partners have reportedly emerged as the latest candidates interested in buying Chelsea.
With a deadline of Friday having been set regarding formal offers, an array of potential options to replace Roman Abramovich will be on the table.
According to journalist Matt Law of The Telegraph, Aethel Partners are willing to purchase the Premier League giants for £2bn.
The report adds that they are also prepared to immediately invest £50m to help ease the immediate financial strain brought on from being unable to generate any revenue.
Should the company win the race to become the new owners of Chelsea, it is claimed that they would do everything possible to ensure that head coach Thomas Tuchel remains at Stamford Bridge.
Earlier this week, reports suggested that the German is a target for Manchester United, who are in the market for a new permanent manager. body check tags ::
