Mason Mount has insisted that he is ready to "get on the scoresheet" for Chelsea moving forwards following injuries to both Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner.
The England international has yet to find the back of the net this season for the Blues, but he has acknowledged that it is an area of his game to improve upon.
"Getting goals from all areas is a big thing for us, a big positive. We can be dangerous from different parts of the team. We can be dangerous from set pieces and the way we play we get people in the box and create chances," Mount told the Daily Mail.
"It is about time I got on the scoresheet. I am getting in the right areas but it is just not falling for me. Hopefully when the first one goes in the floodgates will open.
"Every time I step on the pitch I feel energised and ready to go, ready to press, I want to be involved in every game but I am still young and it's so early in my career."
Both Werner and Lukaku were forced off with injuries during Chelsea's midweek Champions League victory against Malmo, which has caused question marks over the attacking options that Thomas Tuchel has for the upcoming fixture against Norwich City.
