Chelsea midfielder John-Obi Mikel has revealed that Roman Abramovich calls the shots at Stamford Bridge.
The West London club have been continually accused of power struggles ranging from an intrusive owner to player power, particularly throughout the ill-fated spell of Andre Villas-Boas.
However, Kalou believes that Abramovich has the right to change things at the club if he wants.
"It has been a difficult season and you can question the owner, but he wants results and he wants to win trophies," said the Nigeria international.
"If things are not right it is his money, his team, so he has the right to change things. And I think we all respect that.
"Tomorrow, if he says he wants to get rid of us players and wants to get new ones, then we will respect him. It is his money, his business."
Chelsea currently sit fifth in the Premier League table, two points behind fourth-placed Tottenham Hotspur.
