Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel has revealed that he is "glad" to have Didier Drogba back at the club.
The striker, 36, returned to Stamford Bridge on a one-year deal at the end of last month following a brief spell with Galatasaray.
Despite Drogba coming towards the end of his career, Mikel believes that the veteran forward still has plenty to offer Chelsea.
"I heard the rumours [that Drogba would come back] but I thought there was no way it was going to happen," he told Chelsea's official website.
"I thought when he's gone, he's gone, but then I thought about it a bit more and I realised it could happen because of the connection that the gaffer and Didier have always had.
"I'm glad to have him back. It's like his home. He's fitting in perfectly well again. It's like he never went away. It's good for the team because he's a big player and a big personality."
Droba scored 157 goals for Chelsea during his initial eight-year spell with the club.
