Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has been fined £25,000 by the Football Association for his comments following the draw with Southampton on December 28.
The Portuguese claimed that there was a "campaign" against his side after being frustrated by several refereeing decisions in the game at St Mary's Stadium.
An Independent Regulatory Commission hearing found that Mourinho had brought the game into disrepute and have warned him about his future conduct.
However, the Blues boss was found not guilty on the charge of allegedly implying bias on the part of a referee or referees.
Mourinho again used the word "campaign" last night to suggest that the media were targeting striker Diego Costa, who appeared to stamp on two different Liverpool players during Chelsea's League Cup semi-final win.
