Jose Mourinho has hailed the 'cold-blooded' nature of Andre Schurrle after his 17-minute hat-trick helped Chelsea to a 3-1 win over Fulham in the Premier League on Saturday.
The German attacker inspired the Blues to a West London derby triumph at Craven Cottage, giving Mourinho's side a four-point cushion at the top of the table in the process.
"He is in a learning process in relation to the Premier League but what I expect from him is this - cold blood in front of the goal," the Portuguese boss told the club's official website.
"He is not a guy for whom the goal becomes very small. He is the kind of guy who in front of goal is normally cool. He is a finisher.
"He sees the keeper's reaction and he can do it with the left and the right foot. I expect him to score some goals."
The 23-year-old has scored seven times for Chelsea in all competitions so far this season following his move from Bayer Leverkusen last summer.
