Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has said that Didier Drogba can 'make history' following his return to the club.
The Ivorian has signed a one-year contract with the Blues after leaving Turkish outfit Galatasaray.
Drogba scored 157 goals during his first spell at the club, but Mourinho has admitted that his past achievements will count for nothing if he does not perform.
"He's coming because he's one of the best strikers in Europe," he told the club's official website.
"I know his personality very well and I know if he comes back he's not protected by history or what he's done for this club previously. He is coming with the mentality to make more history."
Drogba won three Premier League titles, four FA Cups and the Champions League in his first spell at Chelsea.
