Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has said that it would be 'unacceptable' to finish the season without a trophy.

However, the 50-year-old warned that it is a distinct possibility with at least six "strong" teams to compete with in the League Cup, the FA Cup, the Premier League and the Champions League.

"It's not acceptable [to finish without a trophy]," the Portuguese coach told reporters. "For my philosophy of life, for the nature of the club, it's not acceptable and we do not want to accept it.

"I think it's possible that it could happen because we are competing against very strong teams. Six strong contenders for every competition."

The Blues are third in the Premier League ahead of today's home game against Crystal Palace.
