Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has said that his players are beginning to adhere to his style of football following today's 3-1 win over Southampton.
The Blues fell behind at Stamford Bridge when Jay Rodriguez scored after just 13 seconds, but second-half strikes from Gary Cahill, John Terry and Demba Ba saw them come out on top.
"It's the sign of a team that is going step by step, that understands my ideas and understands my mentality," the Portuguese coach told reporters.
"Some of them, the ones that are not completely in my mentality and my philosophy, are adapting progressively.
"They must feel the responsibility of playing for Chelsea... that Chelsea cannot be in December, like it happened in a few seasons, completely out of the title race."
The West London side are four points behind Premier League leaders Arsenal.
