Jose Mourinho has claimed that John Terry is as good now as he was during the prime years of his first spell as Chelsea manager.
The Blues captain scored in consecutive Premier League games for the first time in eight seasons to help them to a 2-0 win over West Ham United on Boxing Day.
Mourinho believes that the 34-year-old has maintained his standards over a decade.
"He's full of confidence. I see my John of 2004, 05, 06. I don't see any difference," he told reporters.
"I only see a difference when his twins are on the training ground. They were born in that period and now they are running and kicking balls."
Terry's goal was followed by another from Diego Costa and helped Chelsea stay top of the table.
