Jose Mourinho has said that his Chelsea side were "very good" as they comfortably ran out 3-0 winners at home to Aston Villa this afternoon.
Oscar, Diego Costa and Willian gave the Blues all three points as they extended their unbeaten start to the season, and another "solid" home performance impressed Mourinho,
"It was very good from the beginning," he told BBC Sport. "Even during the period the game was 1-0, when it could be open, it was always closed because we controlled the game.
"We had a big percentage of the ball. When we weren't dangerous we kept the ball.
"My four defenders and two midfield players were very solid. The result was a consequence of our dominance. The display allowed me to take off Diego Costa to give me a chance to play him on Tuesday."
Chelsea will take on Sporting Lisbon in the Champions League on Tuesday.
