Manchester City winger Jesus Navas has expressed his belief that Chelsea will slip up at some point in their last eight games of the season.
Manuel Pellegrini's side, who won their second Premier League title in three years last season, have dropped to nine points adrift of leaders Chelsea.
However, if they beat Crystal Palace in tonight's clash at Selhurst Park, City will move from fourth to second.
"The key is to win all the remaining games and I'm sure Chelsea will drop points," Navas told Sky Sports News. "We're not focused on Chelsea. We are focusing on ourselves.
"We need to strive for excellence and we need to win all our remaining fixtures. We have the squad to do so. We are ready to face the challenge."
City have lost two league games in their last six encounters.
