Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has confirmed that Frank Lampard will be included in his 18-man squad for his side's home fixture with Chelsea.
Lampard departed Stamford Bridge in the summer after 13 years with the Blues before linking up with New York City, but he followed up that transfer by moving to Manchester City on a temporary basis.
There had been suggestions that the 36-year-old may not feature against his former club, but at his pre-match press conference, Pellegrini has revealed that Lampard is available and could play against the current league leaders.
Lampard scored 211 goals in 648 appearances in all competitions for the West London outfit.
