Chelsea's number one goalkeeper Petr Cech has made a return to training after damaging his knee ligaments last month.

The 29-year-old was originally ruled out for a month following the training ground injury, but has now appeared to have made a recovery ahead of schedule.

Understudy Hilario deputised during the Blues' recent 3-1 victory over Norwich City, but the Portuguese stopper was at fault for the Canaries' goal that afternoon.

Cech could now be in line for a first-team recall at Sunderland on Saturday.
