New Chelsea signing Andre Schurrle has admitted that it will be an "honour" to play for Jose Mourinho next season.
The German international was officially confirmed as Mourinho's first signing of the summer on Tuesday.
The German international was signed from Bayer Leverkusen for a reported £18m and the versatile Schurrle has revealed his delight at the prospect of turning out for the Portuguese coach next season.
"[Mourinho's] a very good person with a big personality; he's a great manager so it's an absolute honour for me to now be one of his players," Schurrle told the club's official website.
"I got to know him at Michael Ballack's testimonial a few weeks ago where we talked a little bit. He gave me advice on where to live and also explained what he expects from me.
"I'm really looking forward to working with him."
Schurrle scored 14 goals in 43 appearances for Leverkusen last season.
