Rangers boss Steven Gerrard has reportedly turned down an offer to replace Frank Lampard at Derby County.
The Championship side could find themselves in the hunt for a new manager this summer if Lampard leaves the club after one season to take the top job at Chelsea.
Gerrard enjoyed an impressive first season at the helm of Gers, helping them to second place in the Scottish Premiership and engineering their first win over Old Firm rivals Celtic since 2012.
According to The Times, Gerrard was sounded out about joining County this summer but reiterated his commitment to the Scottish side, where he has quickly become a fan favourite.
The newspaper says that the Liverpool legend has every intention of honouring his Rangers contract, which has a further three seasons to run.
John Terry also appears to have rebuffed Derby's advances by signing a new deal to remain as assistant to the manager at Aston Villa.
