Chelsea captain John Terry may miss the Blues' Premier League clash with Newcastle United on Saturday evening with a neck problem.
The England international suffered the injury in Chelsea's 4-2 midweek win over Reading, which gave them an early lead at the top of the table.
However, manager Roberto Di Matteo has some fitness worries in defence for the visit of the Magpies, with Terry a doubt and David Luiz struggling with a knee injury.
New signing Cesar Azpilicueta, who completed his reported £17m move from Marseille earlier today, may be included if Terry is not fit, with Branislav Ivanovic shifting inside to centre-back.
