Chelsea captain John Terry has insisted that he has "full confidence" in manager Andre Villas-Boas.
The skipper is currently on the sidelines with a knee injury that is expected to keep him out for six weeks.
However, Terry has backed the manager and his playing squad to reverse their current form in the coming matches.
"Quite simply, the next few weeks will define our season," he wrote in his programme notes. "I'd give anything to be involved at this time.
"In the meantime, I have full confidence in the team and the manager to get the results we need in the coming weeks."
Chelsea take on Bolton Wanderers this afternoon.
