John Terry is unlikely to be recalled by England manager Roy Hodgson for the friendly against Denmark on March 5, a report claims.
The centre-back's performances for Chelsea this season had resulted in reports that he could make himself available for selection for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
However, The Independent says that Hodgson will discuss Terry's situation on Wednesday, with the likely outcome being that he remains in international retirement.
Terry, who won 78 caps for his country, has not played for the national side since September 2012.
