Kolo Toure has admitted that Liverpool will take great pleasure in gaining some revenge over Chelsea at Anfield on Saturday afternoon.
A 2-0 defeat to Chelsea in the latter stages of last season had a huge say in the Premier League title race as Liverpool eventually lost out to Manchester City.
Toure claims that he is still hurting from the loss, and is hopeful that Liverpool can strike a blow of their own by ending Chelsea's unbeaten run in the league.
"They cost us the league, and now we have the chance to beat them. I can't wait for that, honestly," Toure told reporters.
"Is it a chance for payback? Definitely. It's a very important game when you think what they did to us last season, and it's a great chance to end any argument about them being invincibles too. But the most important thing is we want to win the game."
Toure was a key member of the Arsenal side affectionately known as the 'invincibles' after they avoided defeat on the way to winning the title in the 2003-04 season.
