Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas has said that he was pleased with his team's level of focus in their 3-0 win over Wolves.
The London outfit, who had lost three of their last four league matches prior to this afternoon's encounter, had not won a game at home in over a month. However, speaking earlier this week, Villas-Boas insisted that his side is capable of turning their season around.
"It was a good first half and a good solid performance," he told Sky Sports News.
"We've been wanting this win for quite some time now and the players performed very, very well. They gave a good solid response in terms of concentration and motivation and did exactly that in the first half by not conceding opportunites to the opponent and making the most of our opportunities.
"It was a well-played game and it's an important win for us."
Chelsea remain in fifth place in the Premier League following the win, one point behind fourth-place Newcastle.
