Watford vs. Chelsea has been temporarily suspended due to a medical emergency within the ground at Vicarage Road.
Sports Mole

The Premier League fixture between Watford and Chelsea has been temporarily suspended in the first half today due to a medical emergency.

Unfortunately, a member of the public has suffered a heart attack in the crowd, which has led to a pause in play after the 10th minute of the match.

The players of both teams were quick to alert the referee and the staff about the situation and the game was promptly suspended in order to allow privacy and the right attention to be placed onto the fan.

Members of the medical team for both clubs were quick to get across the pitch in order to help them, with an ambulance arriving in the ground to assist as well.

It has been confirmed that the game will be continuing tonight, with the players set to be out to warm up first, yet they have stated they will not come out until they know the full information.
