Defender Kurt Zouma has suggested that first-team football is his priority next season, whether that be at Chelsea or elsewhere.
Zouma's performances for Everton during the last campaign resulted in the 24-year-old regaining his place in the France squad, who are currently attempting to qualify for Euro 2020.
Despite interest from the Toffees regarding a reunion, Frank Lampard wants to keep Zouma at Chelsea, although the player has hinted that he needs to be given regular starts during the upcoming campaign.
Zouma is quoted by The Express as saying: "That is very important for me. It was one of my targets to get into the France team. I had been there before and wanted to come back.
"I managed to do that. Now the target is to play at the Euros - but to be there you have to be playing at your club. So I am working very hard – and let's see what is going to happen."
Zouma has not played a competitive game for Chelsea since the end of the 2016-17 season.
