Didier Drogba has only made the bench for Chelsea's opening Premier League fixture at Stoke City.

Fernando Torres is the man chosen by Andre Villas-Boas to lead the Chelsea attack, while Nicolas Anelka is also selected among the substitutes.

For hosts Stoke, Jonathan Woodgate has been handed his Premier League debut by manager Tony Pulis, while Kenwyne Jones partners Jonathan Walters up front.
