Chelsea are reportedly on the verge of reaching an agreement with Tammy Abraham over a new contract.
The 21-year-old scored 26 times during a loan spell with Aston Villa last season before returning to Stamford Bridge, where he has become Frank Lampard's number one pick in the centre-forward spot.
Abraham has managed nine goals in 12 outings for the Blues in all competitions this season, including eight in nine Premier League matches during an impressive start to the campaign.
The England international still has little under three years left to run on the £50,000-a-week contract that he penned before joining Swansea City on loan in 2017.
However, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea are 'more than confident' that an agreement will soon be reached between the two parties over a fresh deal.
Saturday's 1-0 win over Newcastle United moved the Blues into fourth position in the Premier League table.
