Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has sent his son to Italy in an attempt to bring Romelu Lukaku back to the Premier League club, according to a report.
The Belgian striker spent three years at Stamford Bridge in the early stages of his career, but made just 15 first-team appearances and was loaned out to West Bromwich Albion and Everton.
The 28-year-old went on to score 42 goals in 96 appearances for Manchester United before signing for Inter Milan, where he has netted 64 times in 95 games.
Now Abramovich wants Lukaku back at Stamford Bridge, as Timo Werner's big-money move from RB Leipzig last summer is yet to work out.
TuttoMercatoWeb reports that the billionaire's son has arrived in Milan on a business trip, with the aim of convincing Lukaku to make the move back to West London.
The striker played in all five of Belgium's games at Euro 2020 this summer, scoring four goals. body check tags ::
