AC Milan have reportedly 'made further progress' in their pursuit of Chelsea's Tiemoue Bakayoko.
The midfielder is not believed to be part of Frank Lampard's plans at Stamford Bridge and is expected to leave the London giants during this summer's transfer window.
Bakayoko has spent each of the last two seasons out on loan, representing Milan during the 2018-19 campaign before returning to Monaco, making 23 appearances in his second spell with the principality side.
The 25-year-old has since returned to Chelsea, but according to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Milan are closing in on the signing of the Frenchman.
Di Marzio claims that the Italian giants are looking to 'make the final steps' in completing a move for a player who has less than two years to run on his contract with the Blues.
Bakayoko has scored three times and contributed three assists in 43 outings for his current club.
