AC Milan are reportedly keeping a close eye on Cesc Fabregas's situation at Chelsea.
Fabregas, 31, has made over 180 appearances for Chelsea since a 2014 move from Barcelona, and appeared in 49 matches in all competitions for the Premier League giants last term.
The central midfielder has missed all four of Chelsea's Premier League matches this season with a minor knee problem, however, and his future under new Blues boss Maurizio Sarri is said to be unclear.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Italian giants Milan are monitoring developments at Stamford Bridge, and could move in January with Fabregas's current Chelsea deal due to expire at the end of the 2018-19 campaign.
Milan did some business with Chelsea during the recent transfer window, with Tiemoue Bakayoko joining the San Siro outfit on a season-long loan.
