AC Milan have reportedly made Chelsea attacker Hakim Ziyech their top target for the summer transfer window.
The former Ajax man did not enjoy the most fruitful of first seasons at Stamford Bridge, scoring six goals and assisting four more in 39 appearances across all competitions.
Ziyech was an unused substitute in the Champions League final win as Thomas Tuchel frequently put his faith in Mason Mount, Kai Havertz and Timo Werner as an attacking trident, leading to suggestions that he could be sold this summer.
According to Corriere Dello Sport, AC Milan have turned their attention towards Ziyech after giving up in their pursuit of Everton's James Rodriguez, whose wage demands forced the Rossoneri to seek out alternative options.
Stefano Pioli's side are in the market for creative reinforcements following Hakan Calhanoglu's exit and subsequent transfer to Inter Milan, but Serie A rivals Napoli have also been credited with an interest in Ziyech.
Ziyech's existing Chelsea deal does not expire until the summer of 2025, and Milan have also been tipped to bring in Olivier Giroud and Tiemoue Bakayoko in a triple swoop. body check tags ::
