The agent of Chelsea midfielder Jorginho has admitted that his client is unlikely to leave Stamford Bridge during this summer's transfer window.
The 28-year-old has been a key player for the Blues this season, contributing seven goals and two assists in 37 appearances in all competitions.
There has been speculation surrounding his future in recent weeks, with Juventus thought to be interested in bringing him back to Italy for the 2020-21 campaign.
However, the Italy international's agent Joao Santos has claimed that the financial impact of the coronavirus outbreak means that clubs will struggle to afford his client this summer.
"His price tag has certainly gone up over the last two years, as he has done well in London and become a regular for Italy," Santos told Calciomercato.
"He is now the vice-captain at Chelsea and has amassed a great deal of experience playing in the Champions League and Europa League. I think it's very unlikely an offer will come in for Jorginho, because nobody can afford to make that kind of investment in the market right now.
"Because of the pandemic, nobody knows when we can return to normal or even play with fans in the stadium, so that's a big problem for the transfer market."
Jorginho's current deal with Frank Lampard's side is due to run until June 2023.
