Chelsea centre-back Antonio Rudiger has admitted that he is 'honoured' to be linked with Bayern Munich but is only focusing on his exploits with the Blues.
The Germany international is yet to commit to a new deal at Stamford Bridge beyond the summer of 2022 and will be able to discuss a pre-contract agreement with clubs elsewhere from January.
Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich have been tipped to bring Rudiger back to his homeland next year, but the 28-year-old has not allowed his mind to wander, even though the Bavarians' interest flatters him.
Speaking to reporters, Rudiger said: "Of course [Bayern's interest] honours me and proves that I've been doing things right. But I don't let myself be distracted.
"I have an obligation to my club to perform well. I have to prove myself every game and not let myself be distracted by rumours. I make my decisions for myself. They don't depend on anyone. I feel good where I am."
Rudiger has played every minute for Chelsea in the 2021-22 season so far, but he is reportedly still 'at odds' with the Champions League holders over a new contract.
