Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo has described Jan Oblak as the "best goalkeeper in the world" and has told Chelsea to look elsewhere for a new number one.
The Blues are believed to have added Oblak to a two-man transfer wishlist, along with Ajax's Andre Onana, as they seek a replacement for Kepa Arrizabalaga.
Chelsea, who have already brought in Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner ahead of next season, were said to have been confident about their chances of signing the Slovenia international.
However, Cerezo insists that Oblak will see out the remainder of his contract, which has another three years left to run at the Wanda Metropolitano.
"I always say that Oblak has a contract with Atletico and is the best goalkeeper in the world," he told Marca. "It is not strange that he has offers from other great teams.
"I say the same as always. Oblak has a contract, he is an Atletico player, period. We have many players, our squad is the club's main asset.
"Oblak is a magnificent player and in his position, unquestionably, there is no one to beat him right now. For me, Oblak - and I speak as an amateur - is the best goalkeeper in the world."
Oblak kept 11 clean sheets in La Liga in 2019-20 - one fewer than former Chelsea and Atletico keeper Thibaut Courtois, who is now at Real Madrid.
