Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas has revealed that the club are continuing to negotiate with Gary Cahill's representatives regarding his potential move to Stamford Bridge.
The Blues have had a bid accepted for the England international, whose contract at Bolton Wanderers expires this summer.
However Villas-Boas has admitted that the deal is still a way from being complete.
"It is an ongoing process. I never thought it would be solved quickly," he said.
Cahill moved to Bolton from Aston Villa in 2008 and has made 129 appearances for the club.
