Chelsea striker Radamel Falcao is reportedly a January transfer target for Zenit St Petersburg boss Andre Villas-Boas.
The 29-year-old has failed to settle at Stamford Bridge since joining on loan from AS Monaco in the summer.
Following an equally disappointing spell at Manchester United last season, Falcao - still under contract at the Ligue 1 side - could now be on his way back abroad.
According to The Telegraph, Villas-Boas is a long-term admirer of the Colombia international and will look to bring him to Russia once the transfer window reopens.
The pair worked together at Porto in the club's treble-winning campaign, and Villas-Boas is said to have attempted to lure Falcao to Zenit in the past.
Fiorentina are also thought to be interested in the once-prolific marksman, although Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho recently played down exit talks.
