Chelsea forward Romelu Lukaku has reportedly emerged as a potential transfer target for Barcelona.
Despite only being in his first season on a long-term contract, speculation persists that Lukaku will depart Stamford Bridge in the summer, particularly if they face financial issues.
Such a scenario is likely to attract interest from Inter Milan, who are said to be owed money from the deal which took the Belgium international to Stamford Bridge.
According to AS, Barcelona may also look to secure the signature of the 28-year-old if they do not win the race for Borussia Dortmund forward Erling Braut Haaland.
The Catalan giants are aware that they face strong competition from Manchester City for the Norway international, whose £67m release clause will be activated later in 2022.
Nevertheless, the report adds that Lukaku is behind Liverpool's Mohamed Salah and Bayern Munich's Robert Lewandowski on their list of preferred targets. body check tags ::
