Montreal Impact youngster Ballou Tabla has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Barcelona.
Despite being just 18 years old, Tabla has already established himself as a regular in the MLS, with two goals being scored in 21 appearances during the previous campaign.
The teenager's emergence has somewhat inevitably led to interest from clubs in Europe, with it previously being suggested that Chelsea were monitoring the Canada Under-20 international.
However, according to the Washington Post, Barcelona are in advanced negotiations with the player and expect to wrap up a deal before the end of the January window.
Should the transfer go through, the Ivorian-born attacker would begin his time at Camp Nou with Barcelona B.
