Barcelona are reportedly considering a move for Chelsea star Marcos Alonso.
The 26-year-old's move to Stamford Bridge on deadline day in the summer of 2016 was widely seen as a panic buy, but the Spaniard has since become a regular fixture in Antonio Conte's team.
During Chelsea's title-winning campaign, Alonso made 31 Premier League appearances, scoring six goals and producing three assists in the process, and this season he has played every top-flight game so far and netted twice.
According to Don Balon, Barcelona boss Ernesto Valverde has turned attention to Alonso as he has not been impressed by Jordi Alba.
Alonso came through Real Madrid's youth academy in 2008 before having spells at Bolton Wanderers and Fiorentina.
