Bayern Munich have reportedly entered the race to sign out-of-favour Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata this month.
Morata has struggled to impress during his time at Stamford Bridge so far and has fallen further down the pecking order under Maurizio Sarri this season.
Chelsea are understood to be looking to sign a striker during the current transfer window, which would also allow them to offload Morata.
Barcelona, Juventus, Atletico Madrid and Sevilla have all been linked with the Spaniard, and The Mirror reports that Bayern are now also interested in securing his signature.
The German champions are reportedly exploring the possibility of a loan deal until the end of the season as they look to chase down Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga as well as bolstering their attacking options for the latter stages of the Champions League.
However, Bayern do have financial concerns over any agreement, with Chelsea asking for a £3m loan fee in addition to the club taking on half of Morata's £140,000-a-week wages.
Morata has scored nine goals in 24 games for Chelsea so far this season but was left out of the matchday squad entirely for Saturday's Premier League clash with Newcastle United.
