Bolton defender Gary Cahill has committed his immediate future to the club, despite reported interest from Chelsea.
Blues boss Andre Villas-Boas has hinted that he will look to secure the England international in January, but Cahill has admitted that he remains committed to the cause.
"It has been a tough start to the season for me. Playing here and then playing for England has been two completely different ends of the scale. Hopefully we can go into the New Year now and start picking up some more points," Cahill told The Sun.
"We're still in the bottom three and it's going to be a hard season. But we've given ourselves three points leading into two home games."
Bolton will attempt to secure successive league wins when they host Newcastle on Monday.
