Chelsea defender Davide Zappacosta is reportedly nearing a loan move to Serie A giants Lazio.
Zappacosta joined Chelsea from Torino in the summer of 2017 and made 35 appearances in all competitions for the Blues last season under Antonio Conte.
The 26-year-old has only played 18 minutes of Premier League football this term, however, with the Italian falling out of favour since Maurizio Sarri arrived as the club's new head coach.
According to Il Messaggero, Zappacosta will join Lazio on loan for the remainder of the season and the Italian outfit will have the chance to make the deal permanent for £13.5m in this summer's transfer window.
Six of Zappacosta's 10 Chelsea appearances this season have come in the Europa League, while he played the full 90 minutes of Saturday's 2-0 win over Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup.
