Chelsea have reached a deal with Augsburg over the purchase of defender Baba Rahman, according to a report.
The Ghanaian left-back has been heavily tipped with a move to Stamford Bridge as a replacement for the recently departed Filipe Luis.
It was suggested on the weekend that a bid in the region of £17m had been knocked back by the Bundesliga outfit, and they were instead holding out for a higher sum.
However, The Guardian claims that Chelsea have now upped their initial offer and agreed a settlement with Augsburg over the structure of payments.
The same report suggests that Rahman has already agreed personal terms with the Premier League champions, with a medical planned for later this week.
