Chelsea have been linked with a move for Nantes centre-back Papy Djilobodji.
The 25-year-old has been in fine form in Ligue 1 this season, helping the newly-promoted Les Canaris to mount an unlikely charge for European football next season.
According to the Daily Star, the Blues will battle it out with Borussia Dortmund for the 6'4" Senegalese defender, who has expressed a desire to play in the Champions League.
"I want to play in big clubs competing in the Champions League and win it," the Daily Star quotes him as saying. "The road is still long but I work every day to make that happen."
Djilobodji joined Nantes from French amateur side US Senart-Moissy in 2010.
