Chelsea will be reportedly 'cautious' if they make an approach for highly-rated Atletico Madrid forward Radamel Falcao.
The Colombian, 26, is believed to have a €60m (£48m) release clause in his contract at the Vicente Calderon but the Stamford Bridge club, who are said to be leading the race for his signature, apparently won't pay a similar sum to the £50m they spent on Fernando Torres.
A source reportedly told ESPN: "Chelsea will never pay such massive prices for a player again."
Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho, a former boss at Stamford Bridge, recently admitted that Los Blancos would not be making a bid for the striker.
