Chelsea are reportedly close to completing a deal with AC Milan that will see Gonzalo Higuain and Alvaro Morata swap clubs.
The Blues are looking to get the flop striker off their books before the end of January, just 18 months after he joined in a £65m switch from Real Madrid.
Eden Hazard has been preferred in the lone striking role in recent weeks, while Olivier Giroud also appears to be more trusted to lead the line than Morata, who has scored 16 goals in 47 Premier League appearances.
A swap move involving Higuain was mooted early last month, but a transfer appeared to be ruled out by Juventus due to the complexities of the deal, as the Argentine striker is still contracted to the Serie A champions.
Despite Chelsea potentially having to agree terms with both Milan and Juve, though, The Sun suggests that the Premier League side still hope to push through a deal in the coming weeks.
Higuain spent a season working under Maurizio Sarri at Napoli earlier in his career.
