Chelsea have confirmed the signing of Cristian Cuevas from Chilean club O'Higgins.
The 18-year-old defender has penned a five-year deal at Stamford Bridge.
The full-back was part of the Chile squad that recently reached the quarter-finals of the Under-20 World Cup.
Chelsea are currently in Asia on a pre-season tour.
