Chelsea have announced that they have completed the signing of PSV Eindhoven winger Noni Madueke.
Before the start of this week, the Blues had already made four January additions with Benoit Badiashile, Andrey Santos, Mykhaylo Mudryk and David Datro Fofana all making the switch to Stamford Bridge.
However, it has been widely documented that the West Londoners remain active in the transfer market and wish to further strengthen the first-team squad.
While a new right-back and central midfielder could follow in due course, Chelsea had added another attacker to their ranks in the form of Madueke.
The 20-year-old, who was born in London, has penned a seven-and-a-half-year contract, with the Premier League outfit possessing the option to extend those terms by a further 12 months.
Although a fee has not been disclosed, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano claims that Chelsea have committed to a €35m (£30.7m) deal.
Speaking to the club's official website, Madueke said: "I'm really pleased to sign with one of the best clubs in the world in Chelsea.
"To return to England and play in the Premier League is a dream for me and my family and I can't wait to get started. I am excited for what the future holds, the owner's vision for the future and to be at a club like this and winning at the highest level."
Madueke spent his youth days at Crystal Palace and Tottenham Hotspur, representing the Eagles for three years and Spurs for a further four years.
However, the England Under-21 international has made his name at PSV, contributing 20 goals and 14 assists from his 80 appearances in all competitions.
Madueke makes the return to his homeland having endured a disrupted campaign due to injury, restricting him to just nine outings.
Nevertheless, the playmaker has twice completed the full 90 minutes since the turn of the year, an indication that he is in a position to hit the ground running for Chelsea.
Madueke was not registered in time to face Liverpool on Saturday, with his debut set to come versus Fulham on February 3 at the earliest.
