Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas is keeping close tabs on Lille star Eden Hazard, according to reports.
Michael Emenalo, the club's technical director, is understood to have been to watch the Belgian star against Marseille a week ago, fuelling speculation that the club could be on the verge of a move for the midfielder.
Villas-Boas is believed to be eager to avoid a bidding war in the summer and would prefer to sign the Lille man this winter, according to The People.
European giants Manchester United, Arsenal, Real Madrid and Barcelona have all been linked with a move for the Hazard in recent months.
