Chelsea considering move for Barcelona midfielder Miralem Pjanic?

:Headline: Chelsea considering move for Barcelona midfielder Miralem Pjanic?:
Chelsea are reportedly contemplating whether to make an approach for Barcelona midfielder Miralem Pjanic, who could be allowed to leave Camp Nou this summer.

Chelsea have reportedly retained an interest in signing Barcelona midfielder Miralem Pjanic during the summer transfer window.

Pjanic struggled during his first campaign at Camp Nou, making just 13 starts and 17 substitute appearances in all competitions.

While the Bosnia-Herzegovina international has three years remaining on his contract, Barcelona must reduce their wage bill as soon as possible having supposedly agreed fresh terms with Lionel Messi.

According to Le 10 Sport, Chelsea are now ready to rival Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain for the 31-year-old's signature.

With Billy Gilmour on the brink of joining Norwich City on a season-long loan deal, Blues head coach Thomas Tuchel requires at least one new face in the centre of the pitch.

The report suggests that a loan agreement for Pjanic is more likely than a permanent deal. body check tags ::
