Chelsea 'considering re-signing Mohamed Salah this summer'

Chelsea could attempt to sign Liverpool attacker Mohamed Salah during this summer's transfer window, according to a report.

Chelsea are reportedly interested in bringing Liverpool attacker Mohamed Salah back to Stamford Bridge during this summer's transfer window.

The 28-year-old previously represented the Blues between 2014 and 2016 but failed to make a serious impression at the club and left having scored just twice in 19 appearances.

Salah starred at Roma before arriving at Liverpool in 2017, and he has scored 123 goals and registered 45 assists in 198 appearances for his current side in all competitions.

The Egypt international's future at Anfield is currently being called into question, though, with the attacker recently revealing that the Reds have not yet approached him over a new deal.

According to Bild journalist Christian Falk, Chelsea have placed Salah on their summer shortlist alongside Borussia Dortmund's Erling Braut Haaland and Inter Milan's Romelu Lukaku.

The Egyptian, who is also thought to be a target for Paris Saint-Germain, has scored 29 goals in 46 outings for Jurgen Klopp's side this term, including 20 strikes in 32 Premier League appearances.
