Chelsea are reportedly weighing up a summer approach for Everton forward Richarlison.
The 25-year-old was again in impressive form for the Toffees during the 2021-22 campaign, scoring 11 goals and registering five assists in 33 appearances in all competitions.
Meanwhile, he has contributed 53 goals and 14 assists in 152 outings for the Merseyside giants since making the move from Watford in July 2018.
Richarlison still has more than two years left to run on his contract at Goodison Park, but there have been claims that he will attempt to force a move away from the club this summer.
Tottenham Hotspur have been credited with an interest in the South American, as head coach Antonio Conte looks to further boost his attack during this summer's transfer window.
However, according to Sky Sports News, there is also interest from Chelsea, with the London giants weighing up making an offer for Richarlison in the current market.
The report claims that the Blues view the Everton forward as a potential replacement for Romelu Lukaku, who is set to re-join Inter Milan on loan for the 2022-23 campaign.
Tottenham are said to be 'very keen on Richarlison', while Chelsea could move for as many as three forwards this summer, including Manchester City's Raheem Sterling and Barcelona's Ousmane Dembele.
Sterling is thought to be strongly considering leaving Man City this summer, while Dembele, as it stands, will be a free agent at the end of the month.
Richarlison netted five goals and five assists in 41 games for Watford ahead of a switch to Everton, and he has a record of 48 goals and 18 assists in 173 Premier League appearances.
Chelsea are also allegedly preparing to sign two new central defenders in the current market, having lost both Andreas Christensen and Antonio Rudiger on free transfers ahead of next season.
Juventus's Matthijs de Ligt has been linked with a switch to the club, while Man City's Nathan Ake, who used to represent the Blues, is also said to be a target.
Chelsea will open their 2022-23 Premier League campaign away to Everton on August 6 before hosting Tottenham Hotspur in their second match of the season one week later.
The Blues finished third in last season's Premier League table, in addition to reaching the quarter-finals of the Champions League, while they were runners-up in the EFL Cup and FA Cup. body check tags ::
